John Hugues is the highlight for many of our childhoods. In fact, many of us wouldn't have a childhood if it was for John Hughes films. Director of such classics as "The Breakfast Club, " Pretty in Pink," "Sixteen Candles," and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", Hughes' movies defined an entire generation and encapsulated them through his films. Hughes suffered a heart attack while visiting friends in NY, he was 59 years old. He will be surely missed.
